Good News Brings Uncharted Trepidations

For those not in the know, Spartan Games just sent out an update newsletter. it is filled with the usual Dystopian Wars update, but this time it included goodness for Uncharted Seas as well. Namely the updated and more beautified Master Rulebook…In hardcover no less! Here is what they had to say, straight from their Newsletter email:

The improvements made to the Uncharted Seas Hardback Edition Master Rulebook are evident right from the offset, as it comes to you in hardback with new, stunning cover artwork to get you immediately drawn into this explosive fantasy naval combat game. Once inside the Master Rulebook, the most obvious change is the array of new photography included which illustrates our magnificent digitally-sculpted models. Also included are new diagrams and the latest errata and clarifications, bringing you completely up-to-date with the current game.

So, as a huge fan of the game, I am glad to see an update on the game. I sincerely hope this is a good renewal of the property. Should it prove otherwise, I fear it will be the death knell of the game in favor of Dystopian Wars.
