This is a heads up that WOTC has finally sent us our Encounters kits.

Sean will be DM'ing tomorrow, the first of many Wednesday sessions in the shop (Miniature Market 8330 Watson Rd. St. Louis, Mo. 63119).

All interested parties should come out tomorrow to begin the campaign at 6:00p.m., and delve into the desert wastelands of Athas.

Whoops, I work until 8:30 tomorrow. Maybe I'll catch next week's.

EDIT: Well, wait. Those last few hours are optional training, but we get paid for showing up to it. Hm. Put me down as a definite maybe for tomorrow. I do have next Wednesday off, though, so no problem.

...Aaaand this week, there's a party at the zoo. A booze party. That employees get in for free. And next week, I'll be out of town, in Kansas City. And the week after that, I'll be in Champaign-Urbana. But by mid-August, I'll be available again!

I'm with the education department. I go to different areas and talk about animals. I also police the stingray exhibit for about half the day. Some days I dress up in historical garb (since the zoo is celebrating a centennial this year) and get mistaken for Abraham Lincoln.

I'm a noob..Does this group meet only on wednesdays? I don't know if I can make it to many sessions and I'm guessing this is probably the only Dark Sun campaign meeting near me. Although, maybe more will emerge after the new material comes out...fingers crossed.
